Welcome to world of thoughts and insights!

No time to read more books? Want to know how to make time?

Finding Time to Read? Too busy in your life?

You’re not alone! Many people struggle to find time for reading amidst their busy schedules. Whether we are graduating students or office workers or running a business of our own, with time passing, we keep getting busier with our work and daily life. Not to underestimate the household life of our wonderful housewives! We all need time. Time for ourselves; our well being, our hobbies, our family and our growth. There is just so much. Then how do we find time read our favourite books or books and articles that can intrigue, inspire or push us to grow further?

Here are a few tips to help you carve out some precious reading time:

1. Schedule Reading Time:

  • Treat it like an appointment: Block out specific times in your calendar for reading, just as you would for any other important engagement.
  • Consistency is key: Even 15-20 minutes a day can make a difference.

2. Embrace “In-Between” Moments:

  • Waiting rooms: Bring a book to the doctor’s office, dentist’s office, or any other place where you might have to wait.
  • Commuting: If you take public transportation or drive, use that time to listen to audiobooks.
  • Lunch break: Instead of scrolling through social media, enjoy a relaxing lunch break with a good book.

3. Create a Cozy Reading Nook:

  • Designate a special spot: Find a comfortable chair or spot on the couch where you can relax and enjoy reading.
  • Minimize distractions: Put your phone on “Do Not Disturb” and find a quiet place where you won’t be interrupted.

4. Make Reading a Habit:

  • Start small: Begin with a small, achievable goal, such as reading for 10 minutes a day.
  • Reward yourself: Celebrate your reading milestones to stay motivated.

5. Find the Right Format:

  • Audiobooks: Listen while you’re on the go or doing chores around the house.
  • E-readers: Carry a library of books in your pocket and adjust the font size for easy reading.

Remember: Making time for reading is an investment in yourself. It can reduce stress, improve your cognitive function, and expand your horizons. So, start small, be patient, and enjoy the journey!
